Obituary for Anna Nell Fuchs (Wittmer)
Anna Nell Wittmer Fuchs, 88, of Victoria passed away on December 26, 2017. She was born on January 10, 1929 in Cuero, Texas to the late Charles Alfred Wittmer and Annie Bohne Wittmer. She was a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church where she served as a Sunday school teacher, participated in the Women’s Circle; and along with her husband, Joe, sponsored the youth group, Luther League.
In her early years she enjoyed dancing, playing pinnacle, and coffee circles with friends. Ann spent most of her adult life caring for extended members of her family and loving her time as a grandmother and great grandmother.
Survivors include daughters, JoAnn Williams and husband James of Victoria; and Becky Thurman and husband Ed of Georgetown. Grandchildren include Clinton Joseph Williams and wife Katie of San Antonio; Christi Williams of Houston; Jordan Edward Thurman and wife Meagan of Leander; and Lynsey Elaine Thurman of Leander; and two great grandchildren, Coltin Williams of San Antonio, and Tucker Joseph Thurman of Leander.
Anna is preceded in death by her parents, and 2 brothers Ivan Buesing and Charles Wittmer.
A visitation will be held from 1:00pm to 2:00pm at Grace Memorial Chapel, 8819 US Hwy 87 North, Victoria, TX with funeral services to follow at 2:00pm on Saturday, December 30, 2017. Burial will be held at Memory Gardens following the service.
Pallbearers are James Williams, Jordan Thurman, Lynsey Thurman, Robin George Murphy II, and Able Garza.
Honorary pallbearers are Clinton Williams, Coltin Williams, Ed Thurman, Louis Bitterly, and Christi Williams.
