Obituary for Randy Scott Tate
Randy Scott Tate, 57, passed away Friday, February 9 with his family near. He was born January 11, 1961, in Texas City, TX to surviving parents Harvey and Bettie Tate of Victoria, TX. Randy spent over 20 years working as a Carpet/Floor Covering Technician, and most recently as a Water Filtration Specialist. His passion was to economically fix and tinker on things especially his old fashioned 1967 FORD tractor. Most importantly, Randy was a beloved father, son, grandfather, brother, and fiancé.
He is preceded in death by his son, Brian Corey Scott Tate, 35, of Victoria.
Randy is survived by his parents, Harvey and Bettie Tate (Victoria, TX), 3 grandchildren, Laura Peebles, Gavin Tate, and Maxwell Tate (Victoria, TX), fiancé, Doris Cann (Victoria, TX), sister, Linda Tate (Victoria, TX), brother, Danny Tate (Alamo, TX), stepsons, Bryan and Brandon Banaski, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 13, 2018 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Grace Memorial Chapel, 8819 US Hwy 87, Victoria, TX 77904. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Memorial Chapel, 8819 US Hwy 87, Victoria, TX 77904. Graveside Service will follow at Memory Gardens.
