Victoria ~ Raymond Lee Williams went to be with the Lord April 30, 2018 at the age of 79. He was born July 4, 1938 in Bloomington, Texas to the late Archie and Viola Williams.
He is survived by his son Jonathan Williams and his fiancé Kacie Yarbrough; brothers Donald Williams, and Larry (Ann) Williams.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Dottie Lou Williams; sister Shirley Dittert and brother Ronnie Williams.
Raymond served in the US Army and Navy Reserves. He loved his work at Alcoa and retired after 42 years of service. He was a runner, enjoyed baseball especially Victoria Generals and UHV Jaguars. He was active in his church where he was a greeter.
Visitation will be held Friday, May 4, 2018 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at Grace Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 11:00 am at Fellowship of the Crossroads, 3706 N. Navarro with Pastor Bard Letsinger officiating.
Burial with full military honors under the auspices of the Victoria County Veterans Council, AL, CWV, VFW, DAV, MCL, MOWW, EX-POW, MOPH, VVA, and KWV will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to Fellowship of the Crossroads or Alzheimer’s Association.
