EDWARD “EDDIE” WARD
Point Comfort- Eddie Ward passed away suddenly on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at the age of 67. He was born in London, England on July 12, 1950 to the late Harry Liney and Florence Mary (Sharp) Ward.
He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Karen M. Stenseth Ward; daughter Tracey Torres; son Joseph “Joe” (Diane) Schramek; daughter Michelle (Kenneth Broll) Schramek Fuller; brother Harry Ward; sisters Pat (Peter) Welfare and Ann (Johnny) Pfiffner all from England; 6 grandchildren Tim (Shelby) Tschepl, Alex and Dakota Fuller, Faith, Isaiah and Bethany Torres; great grandson Cain Turner Tschepl, the apple of Eddie’s eye and his 2 fur babies Tetley and Montana.
Eddie came to the United States in May 1977 and worked several years as an auto mechanic and service writer. He then went to work for Turner Industries for 22 years as a millwright and most recently for Clarke Constructors.
Eddie had a witty sarcastic sense of humor which sometimes got him in trouble but through that he had a heart of gold and loved to cook as several can attest to! He especially loved to make weekend English breakfast.
As per Eddie’s wishes there will be no service. A private family celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
Friends and well wishers are asked to light a cigarette or drink a cold beer (if you partake in either) and toast his sarcastic backside. We all know and love his sense of humor!
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family for final expenses or to the donors favorite charity.
Condolences and memories can be shared at www.gracefuneralhome.net. Services are under the direction and personal care of Grace Funeral Home.
