Donald John Gajer entered into rest on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at the age of 89. He was born on February 22, 1929 in Moulton, TX.
Donald was an electrician and worked for Union Carbide-Dow Chemical for over 37 years. He was a Veteran and enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1951 and discharged honorably in 1953. He was a member of several organizations such as the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, Past Noble Grand I.O.O. F. No. 9, District Deputy Grand Master and Grand Harold of Texas Grand Lodge, and the Rebekah Lodge I.O.O.F. He was also a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara K. Bush; his son David B. (Debora) Gajer; his grandson Dave A (Veronica) Gajer; and his great grandchildren, Natalie C. Gajer and Rachel K. Gajer.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Edith Annette Adams Wilson; his father, Vladimir John Gajer; and stepfather James Byron Wilson; his brother Joseph Byron and sister Annette Yvonne Wilson Nohe.
The family will receive friends and family for a visitation on Saturday, July 28, 2018 from 8:30am to 10:00 at Grace Memorial Chapel.

A graveside service will follow at 10:30am at Memory Gardens Cemetery, with Pastor Barney Matocha, officiating. Burial with military honors under the auspices of the Victoria Veterans Council, AL, CWV, FRW, DAV, MCL, EX-POW, MOPH, VVA, AND KWA.
